UPPER MICHIGAN WINTER FAMILY SESSION

Outdoor winter family session? Sign me up! Amy and Paul contacted me in November of 2020 to plan an outdoor family photoshoot with one request - that we would wait for snow! They had just welcomed their new baby and I couldn't have been more excited! As a born and raised "Yooper" in Michigan's Upper Peninsula and a major lover of all things snow and winter, this shoot was a dream.

We left the car running to keep warm for the first half of the shoot before throwing on a few more layers to venture into the snow. Gentle snowfall, hot coffee, cozy knits, lots of laughs and baby snuggles. It was such an honor to capture these memories for the Vafa family. This session was pure winter magic.
